Following up drug trafficking in Iran I travelled to the borders of the triangle: Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran. I obtained the permission to work with the Iranian military and the local police. I took photographs inside a women's prison to hear their stories of drug addicted husbands and poverty. Heroine and opium is omnipresent and is often the only way to gain money. Children are left unattended at home.
